Slideshow
A video sequence built from the finished slides of the set, with transitions - no script and no voiceover, cheaper and faster than a video cover.
What it does
- Renders the slides of a card set into a single video sequence.
- Reports the render's progress step by step.
- Runs on the same branch as video, and yields the queue to it.
How it works
pages.features.items.slideshow.how.lead
A slideshow is a render of cards that have already been assembled. The copy, the layouts and the marketplace checks all ran earlier, when the set was built, so a slideshow cannot show something the slides do not contain.
Limits
A slideshow adds no music and no voiceover - that is what a video cover is for.
It does not replace footage shot on a camera: it is a sequence of still slides.
